Happy Mother'sDay to me!!!

I had the best Mother's Day ever! Not only did I not feel out of place when standing to get the gifts for mothers at church, but Joey made a delicious dinner while I napped with the baby. However, The best part was when Anna went to sleep that night. She fell asleep at 9:15pm, of course it is hard to put down a sleeping baby,



she is just so precious, so I didn't put her in bed until about 10:15. Joey and I then went to bed at about 11:30. Having fed Anna at 8:30pm I knew she would be up any minute to eat. Well, I fell asleep anyway then I awoke with a start because I felt I had been sleeping so soundly for a long time and was wondering why Anna hadn't woken up yet. I looked at the clock and it said 4am!!!! The longest she had slept before was about 4 hours. It had been almost 7! I went to the closet (yes, she sleeps in the closet! Where else do you put a baby, who makes so many noises when she sleeps, in a one bedroom apartment?) to make sure she was still breathing...of course she was. I went back to bed and slept until 5:22 when she woke up. That was the best Mother's day present ever!! Now when she goes to bed tonight and sleeps for eight hours, I am going to go to bed at the same time. She will sleep for eight hours again, won't she? :)
